Miss Margaret is a very special, 2 year old, 7 pound Chihuahua girl who is looking for a very special home. Margaret was rescued by a kind citizen who saw her, very skinny and dragging herself around. She took Margaret in to help her and contacted us to see if we could help her. Margaret is paralyzed. She has a spinal fracture and isn't a candidate for surgery. She gets along so well in her wheelchair/cart and runs and plays with other dogs without a care in the world. Because of her paralysis, she cannot control going to the bathroom. We take her outside a few times a day and express her bladder for her. It is no big deal at all. Margaret would do best in a home who may have experience with these special needs and is home a lot to take her out and spend time with her. This girl has a beautiful spirit and is loving and sweet. She would even do well as a therapy dog or a greeter at a nursing home, assisted living, or hospital. She is a true gem and we are so thankful we could help her. We hope that we can find her a home of her very own....but we are happy to keep her with us as long as it takes...
